LINE COOK 1 

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

As a Cook your goal is to be committed to providing our guest with exceptional service, quality, and value. Cleanliness of the food service area is essential, as well as maintaining the quality and freshness of the food while performing tasks directed by the Sous Chef. The right candidate must possess the ability to physically handle knives, pots and other display items as well as grasp, lift and carry/transport up to 50 pounds to every area of the kitchen. In addition, this position requires the ability to use and handle various kitchen machinery including but not limiting to slicers, grinders, mixers, etc. The ideal candidate must be innovative, detail-oriented, and a multi-tasker with good oral communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

● Maintain all standards.
Familiar with our recipes, ingredients, and equipment.
Cook food to specifics.
Assist Sous Chef with maintaining inventory.
● Daily prep.
● Work clean, work safe.
● Other duties as directed.

POSITION TYPE

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary based on need. Frequent evening and weekend work is required.

● 4 years of increased experience working in a commercial kitchen.
● Ability to read and communicate in English.
● Food Handler Certification.

 

LINE COOK 2
