BARISTA –

JOB PURPOSE
This position creates a personable experience for our customers by providing them with elite service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DISHWASHER –

JOB PURPOSE
The dish and general utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
● Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering
● Change dishwater in dish machine every hour
● Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
● Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
● Set up or break down dishwashing area
● Clean and roll/unroll mats
● Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
● Sweep/mop floors
● Assemble/disassemble dish machine
● Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster
● Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
● Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
● Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
● 
Do not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without washing hands first
● Other duties as directed

 

HOST/HOSTESS –

Mature, professional individuals with at least 1-2 years experience in a fine dining establishment are encouraged to apply. Responsible for opening the restaurant at the prescribed time and ensuring the reception area is clean and ready for guests to enter. A host/hostess must maintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude toward guests, other employees and management staff.

Excellent phone etiquette, ability to multitask, hospitality and customer service-oriented and experience with Open Table reservations system required.

 

COOK 1 

JOB PURPOSE
Will handle day-to-day cooking of catering, production, and restaurant food services as directed by their chefs. Responsible for maintaining fresh products prepped on their station, and organized and proper rotation of walk-in and storage. Practice proper safety and sanitation. Any and all tasks directed by chef. 

HOURS REQUIRED
PM shifts

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Maintain all standards
● Knowledge of all Sapphire recipes, ingredients, and equipment
● Cook all food to specifications
● Maintain quality and proper rotation of all products
● Assist sous chef with maintaining inventory
● Daily prep
● Assist in training of new cooks
● Work clean, work safe
● Cleaning and care of all equipment i.e. robot coupe, blender, etc. . .
● Labeling
● Sanitation
● Cleaning station, line, kitchen, fryer
● Know MSDS
● Follow cleaning schedule
● Ability to do all tasks assigned by management
● Write prep list
● Calibrate thermometers
● Follow handbook guidelines and policies

QUALIFICATIONS
● 4 years experience in high volume scratch cooking, banquet cooking
● Ability to read and write English
● Follow direction
● Model professional behavior including punctuality and being a team player
● Subject to background check, complying with all state and federal laws

 

COOK 2 

JOB PURPOSE
Will handle day-to-day cooking catering, production, and restaurant food services. Will also need to clean the kitchen, maintain freshness and quality standards of food while performing tasks directed by sous chef.
